Visual Storyteller

I began photographing with a Pentax Spotmatic at the age of 12. I now shoot almost exclusively digital with Fujifilm cameras (X-T3 and X100F).

Education: Lots. B.M. from California State University, Northridge; M.Phil. from Cambridge University, Künstlerisch-weiterbildendes Studium from the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” Berlin, D.M.A. from University of Washington (D.M.A.)—all in music composition.

Instruments: Guitar and piano.

Teaching: Years of faculty service at University of Washington, Central Washington University, and Edmonds Community College. Pre-college instruction for the Academy of Music Northwest. Decades teaching private students.
